In June 2026, Pratt Institute partnered with the Union Square Partnership and the Meatpacking District BID to develop a public-facing art installation in the storefront windows of the newly completed Village West residential building, located on the southwestern corner of 14th Street and 6th Avenue. The installation showcases the work of Pratt’s upcoming artists and designers, and is intended to activate otherwise underused retail space.

For the Village West installation, I created a series of graphic panels for each “window vignette” to capture the viewer’s attention and join the separate windows into one unified installation. Each of Pratt’s six schools — Architecture, Art, Design, Information, Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Continuing and Profesional Studies — is represented by physical student work selected by each school displayed in each window. An informational flyer and souvenir bookmark were produced as well as takeaways during the launch event.
